Proper noun

Definition:

A proper noun is noun that identifies particular  person,place or thing.
in written english, proper noun begins with a capital letter.

Examples;

Dog ,chair, car

Common noun

Definition:

A common noun is noun that refers to things in general.

Example;

Alama iqbal, Karachi,January

Collective noun

Definition:

A collective noun is noun that refers to a group of people or things.

Example;

Team,Army, Choir

Compound noun

Definition:

Compound noun is noun that refers to two or more nouns that combined to form a single noun.

Example;

school boy ,orange juice,cheese cacke .

Concrete noun

Definition:

A concrete noun is noun that refers to peopleand things that exist physically and can be seen.

Example; Building, beach ,bridge.

Absrtact noun

Definition:

an abstract noun is noun  that refers to ideas quality and condition, things that cannot be seen or touch or things that have no physical reality.

Example;

Time , Love, Friendship, Honesty

Countable noun

Definition:

Countable noun are nouns that have singuler and plural form, in plural, these noun can be used with a number that can be counted.

Example;
Apple, House,Books

Uncountable noun

Definition:

Uncountable noun can only be used in singuler.They can't be counted.

Example; 

Money ,Water, coffee.

There are 8 part of speech;

Noun

Adverb
Adjective
Preposition
Conjunction
Interjection
Noun:
Noun is a word used to name a person, place , thing or idea

Example:

Sahal, chair, glass, door etc. 

Pronoun:

A word that can be used instead of noun. 

Example:

He, she, it, they, you, we, I. 

Verb:

A verb is an action word that describes what the subject is doing. 

Example:

Running, walking, setting eating etc. 

Adjective:

An adjective describes a noun or pronoun. 

Example:

Size/shape: tiny, long, oval. 
Texture:prickly, smooth. 
Taste:flowery, sour. 
Appearance:bright, beautiful. 

Adverb:

An adverb tells how often when or where. 

It can describe a verb, adverb and other adjective

Example:

How: loudly, Quickley
How often: always, never. 
When: before, soon
Where: away, inside 

Preposition:

Preposition show relationship such as direction, time or placement between noun and pronoun. 

Example:

About, around, into, across, before, through after, between, to. 

Conjunction:

A conjunction join two ideas or show the relationship between two parts of sentences. 

Example:

And, so, until, because, through, while, but or unless. 

Interjection:

An interjection express strong emotions and is follow by exclamation mark. (!!)

Example:

Aw, hurry, Alas, oh etc

Article:

An article comes before a noun in a sentence and sometimes shows if the noun refers to a specific or general person place or object

Example:

Gernal: a dog, a farm, an apple
Specific:the dog, the farm, the Apple.
